Accessibility Services provides reasonable academic accommodations, auxiliary aids, assistive technology, support services and access to qualified individuals with disabilities in accordance with the ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Appalachian Outreach collaborates with college and community partners to provide programs and services that help eliminate educational and social barriers, champion the benefits of post-secondary education and life-skills training, and promote Appalachian cultural awareness at Sinclair and in the community.
Student Judicial Affairs at Sinclair Community College is charged with upholding the Student Code of Conduct, which identifies behavioral expectations for all students on Sinclair campuses and all neighborhood learning sites.
The Offices of Student Affairs seek to provide a campus environment where all students, including those who identify as LGBTQ+, feel welcomed, respected, safe, and valued as full members of the campus community. We support LGBTQ+ students by providing resources and services, making education and training available to all members of the campus community, and developing students who are committed to leading positive social change.
The office of Campus Ministry is a multi-faith center for spiritual life that encourages interfaith dialogue and spiritual deepening. The Interfaith Campus Ministers work together to provide pastoral care and educational opportunities and programs related to religious and spiritual life. Students, staff, faculty and administrators from all religious traditions and spiritual practices, as well as those who have no affiliation, are welcome.
Student and Community Engagement provides Sinclair students with a wide variety of resources ranging from leadership development opportunities to resources for connecting to local employment opportunities. The office is also responsible for a variety of student activities, as well as campus clubs and organizations. Furthermore the department serves as a resource for employers who are seeking to connect with and recruit our students through job postings, career fairs or other on-campus activities.
These free sessions are presented on a variety of topics including: academic skills enhancement, educational planning, campus resources, career development, and cultural, social and personal development.
Tartan Scholars Connection our goal is to serve students who have lived the experience of foster care and aspire to high education. We offer a range of supports customized to the unique experience of these students. The Tartan Scholars Connection students will meet with their Connection Coach, who will help develop them a holistic plan of services to achieve success.
Tutorial Services provides “free” individual as well as open lab/group tutoring assistance to any Sinclair student who is enrolled in class for academic credit.
