The Sinclair community, along with the Dayton community and nation, mourn the tragic deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd and many others. It is impossible to watch the videos of police brutality and our fellow African American families, friends, and neighbors being harassed and killed, without reflecting that our society has so much to do to become a safe and inclusive environment.
Sinclair strives to deliver education that is socially just, inclusive, developmental, practical and humane. As a college, we must educate ourselves on issues such as white supremacy, racism, and the experiences of people in our communities. This is only part of the pathway to true social justice. We, too have much to learn! We remain committed to serving our students and community members of ALL identities, by upholding our values of alignment, equity, and growth. Please join us as we learn, listen, and grow to push our society forward.
