Office of the Senior Vice President

Dr. Miller serves as Senior Vice President at Sinclair, providing leadership for the college’s National UAS Training and Certification Center, Advanced Air Mobility initiatives, and Conference Center operations. Since joining Sinclair in 2000, Dr. Miller has held a range of leadership and operational roles, including Senior Vice President for Workforce Development and Consulting, Senior Vice President for Administration; Chief Operating Officer for the National UAS Training and Certification Center; Interim Vice President and Assistant Vice President for Workforce Development; Director of Business Services; Purchasing Manager; and Adjunct Faculty Member in the Business and Public Services Division.

National UAS Training & Certification Center

Sinclair’s National UAS Training and Certification Center is a nationally recognized hub for unmanned aerial systems education, workforce training, applied research, and industry collaboration. The Center provides immersive, hands-on learning opportunities supported by advanced simulation, sensors, avionics, maintenance capabilities, data analytics, rapid prototyping, wind tunnel laboratories, and dedicated indoor flight-testing environments. Since 2008, Sinclair has developed partnerships and programs designed to prepare students, employers, and communities for the evolving needs of the UAS industry.

Building on this foundation, Sinclair is expanding its leadership in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), the emerging aviation ecosystem that includes electric aircraft, autonomous systems, new transportation models, and supporting infrastructure. Through training, applied research, and partnerships such as its work with BETA Technologies and the National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence, Sinclair is helping prepare the next generation of pilots, technicians, operators, and aerospace professionals for careers in electric and advanced aviation.
