In the wake of the events that are happening worldwide. Like many schools, Sinclair College is taking precautions to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus through multiple measures.
Sinclair’s Military Family Education Center (MFEC) has received several calls in reference to students that are using their GI Bill® benefits and how these will be impacted with the break and possible modality changes in Spring 2020 classes. To be proactive, we have sent an email to our State Approving Agency (SAA) and our VA Education Liaison Representative with detailed questions that we want to provide to students. At this point in time, the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) is meeting to discuss the same concerns and have not provided any directions to date.
As the situation is fluid and ever changing, it may take some time to get direction from the VA. For now, we are processing benefits and operating on a business as usual stance. As we learn more or as things change, we will notify students through Sinclair email. To monitor Sinclair updates concerning the virus, visit: www.sinclairprepared.com
The MFEC office is available with online communication to reduce risk for students and staff. If you have questions, please email us at email@example.com .
We appreciate your patience during this time.
