As noted on their website, www.aircampusa.com, the purpose of Air Camp "is (to) inspire students to new heights of scholarship, leadership and citizenship while they experience the thrill of flight and study the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) of aviation and aeronautics.

Engineering & Technologies Day:

- ATTENTION -

High School Teachers, Students and Parents

The Science, Mathematics & Engineering Division at Sinclair College invites you to attend Engineering & Technologies Day! Engineering & Technologies Day introduces students and parents to Sinclair Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs and helps you understand how to connect your education to a career in fields such as Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive, Aviation, Biotechnology, Engineering & Robotics and more! With an ever-increasing demand for STEM workers, more jobs are requiring some type of post-secondary education. This is your opportunity to learn all about our STEM programs. The event runs from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on the scheduled day. The entire time allotted is required to experience all the programs.

FlexFactor:

Through a consortium of higher education institutions, Sinclair College is working to address the need for a more highly skilled workforce; one that is adaptive, technical, and that has automation-era skillsets. The FlexFactor program, by NextFlex, is the collaborative technology and entrepreneurship program, funded by the Department of Defense, that will allow youth to discover the value of a career in advanced manufacturing.

A 5-8 week program that immerses high school students in the world of advanced manufacturing and encourages them to consider a career in STEM!

FlexFactor is a guided curriculum that can be embedded into any academic classroom, with support provided by a FlexFactor Project Manager and industry partners.
