Sinclair LSAMP Summer Bridge Institute
The Sinclair LSAMP Summer Bridge Institute for STEM students will help prepare students for college-level coursework and orient students to the many campus resources to ensure student success. This program is specifically designed for students who have enrolled in a STEM program at Sinclair. The goal of the “bridge” program is to aid students’ transition to the academic rigor expected at the college level and to help them be successful in their STEM degree program.
During the LSAMP Summer Bridge you can expect to:
- Meet STEM faculty and students and make valuable connections
- Tour classrooms and labs
- Develop study and time management skills to be successful in STEM courses
- Receive specialized instruction and preparation for college-level mathematics and science
- Learn stress and wellness management skills
- Learn about Sinclair Tutoring, Advising, and other Academic Support Service
