The Fire Science Technology (FST) program provides an understanding of all aspects of fire science including fire protection, prevention, and investigation. The FST program is also appropriate for career firefighters, fire protection system designers, fire prevention code enforcement personnel, and safety professionals who want to enhance their job skills as well as increase their opportunities for promotion.

View Full Program DetailsThis program provides training as outlined by the Ohio Division of Emergency Medical Services (state accrediting body) for Firefighter I, Firefighter II and Emergency Medical Technician. Sinclair Community College complies with all requirements as outlined by the Ohio Division of Emergency Medical Services. Successful students will be eligible to sit for state certification testing and eventually be eligible to become licensed/certified as a Firefighter I, Firefighter II, and EMT.
