FEB 3rd - #Sinclair Feed the Birds @ Centerville & Mason- (see details below), February is National Bird-Feeding Month. The season is still quite harsh and it makes it hard for birds to find enough food and nutrients. Stop by and make your own bag of bird seed to take. Go outside and feedthe birds. Be sure to pick out a sticker of your choice before you go! Post pictures of feeding the birds on instagram or facebook and use #SinclairFeedtheBirds.

FEB 4th - Sinclair Talks: Pathways to Peace-A Season for Nonviolence Experience- (11:30 AM - 12:30 PM), NW Loggia, Library, Dayton Campus. Join us as we honor the Season for Nonviolence, inspired by the legacies of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Explore how compassion, courage, and community can transform conflict and create positive change.
What to Expect:
• Mini Presentation (12:15 PM): “Everyday Nonviolence: How Small Actions Create Big Impact” – a brief talk with reflection prompts and takeaways
• Peace rock painting & kindness card station
• Reflection Board: Share your hopes for a more just and peaceful world

FEB 5th - #Sinclair Feed the Birds @ Dayton - (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM), NE Loggia, Library, Dayton Campus. February is National Bird-Feeding Month—and our feathered friends need a little extra love this time of year! Swing by the NE Loggia to create your own custom bag of bird seed. Then head outside, sprinkle some kindness, and help local birds stay happy and healthy through the cold. Before you go, snag a fun sticker to remember the moment! Don’t forget to snap a pic of your bird-feeding adventure and share it on instagram or facebook using #SinclairFeedTheBirds. Let’s see how far our kindness can fly!

FEB 16-19th -Recreational Sports & Fitness Week - (see details), Join us either Wednesday, February 18, or Thursday, February 19, for an Open House – Free One Day Membership Pass. FEB 19th - Paw-fee with a Cop - (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM), NE Loggia, Library, Dayton Campus. Stop by the NE Loggia Library and have a FREE cup of coffee with Sinclair Police and meet and pet, “Piper”, the “cuddliest” member of their team. Piper is a sweet golden lab and our young community support dog in training. He truly is the cutest little guy!

FEB 19-20th - National Love Your Pet Photo Submission- (All Day), SCSCOH. Log into the Sinclair College Student Clubs and Organizations Hub on eLearn to access the photo submission link available Feb 19-20. Upload a photo of your favorite pet. One submission per applicant. Student will be able to vote on their choice photo from Feb 21-24. Winner announced Feb 25. Students are eligible for a chance to win Sinclair Swag. Let’s show our pets some photo love!
FEB 23rd-27th - National Oreo Cookie Challenge - (See Details), Submit your Oreo Cookie Unique flavor combinations on the SCSCOH for the Ultimate Dream Oreo Cookie. Submissions are open from Feb. 23-27. Voting will commence March 2-5 online via the SCSCOH and QR codes posted around campus. Winner will be announced on March 6th via the SCSCOH. Winner will receive a yummy prize pack!

Stop by our Basic Self-Defense Session for an upbeat, beginner-friendly experience that blends movement, safety tips, and practical skill-building. You’ll learn how to protect yourself, stay aware of your surroundings and respond smartly in challenging situations. It’s empowering, educational, and a great way to take charge of your personal safety. Session taught by Wayne Dumolt.

MAR 5th - Sinclair Talks: Life Skills Series "Basic Car Maintenance", (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM), Bldg 20, Dayton Campus. Ready to get under the hood? Join Sinclair’s Automotive Technology team for a hands-on session where you'll learn the basics of keeping your car running smoothly during the hot summer months. Discover how to check essential fluids, understand the value of a maintenance schedule, and gain tips on building a strong relationship with your repair shop.
Participants will even get the chance to try these skills on real vehicles in Sinclair’s state-of-the-art automotive lab. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to learn!
