Sinclair's Senior Advisor to the President, Michael Carter, has compiled his personal mementos of Black History Memorabilia, including a diverse range of artifacts and documents. The Michael and Debbie Carter Center for American History: Our American Journey invites you to "Remember, Reflect, and React." All are welcome to visit the new Sinclair College Dayton Campus location, in Building 11, Room 322. The exhibit is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or by appointment.

The film explores the concept of caste as a social hierarchy. FILMS on FRIDAYS: The Bright PathAn African American stand out player at Drake University during the 40's and 50's, Johnny Bright was a front-runner to win the 1951 Heisman Trophy. In a game against Oklahoma A&M, Bright was knocked unconscious and ultimately forced to leave the game due to injury. Bright enjoyed a Hall of Fame career in the Canadian Football League and was an Educator, Coach and Principal in his later years.
