Over the summer, the college launched the new Department of Student Life, bringing together student engagement and recreation programs to create a more integrated and holistic student experience.
As the college's hub for involvement and wellness, Student Life will provide opportunities for students to connect, lead, thrive, and belong. The department will oversee clubs and organizations, leadership development, recreation and wellness initiatives, campus events, and other co-curricular experiences designed to strengthen engagement and support student success. By aligning these programs within a single department, the college is enhancing its ability to foster a vibrant campus community that supports students academically, socially, and personally.

The Physical Activity Center will reopen August 31st for Fall Term Non-Credit Classes and Open Hours. Refer to the Open Hours web page.
Non-credit PED Activity classes are now available. All you need to do is select the class or classes that you would enjoy and register. All classes begin the week of August 24th. Please refer to the Schedule Planner website: regportal.sinclair.edu for a complete listing of Non-Credit (6000 Series) PED classes.
Please remember that your Tartan Card will be used to gain access to the PAC. You will need to supply your own lock and towel for the locker room. Lockers can be utilized while you are in class. However, you can NOT keep anything in a locker overnight.
The PAC membership sales have resumed under the following process:
Online Payment Using Credit Cards - Students, faculty and staff will be able to pay for PAC Memberships and Class Passes by VISA, MasterCard, Discover or AMEX Credit or Debit through the Bursar's Non Tuition Payments website.
After the student, faculty, or staff has paid for their membership or class pass, they will bring their receipt to the PAC Office and complete an Assumption of Risk Form and the PAC Enrollment Form. We will process it as normal.
The Equipment Room (Building 8, Room 017) will have a laptop that students, faculty, and staff can use to purchase their memberships online through the Bursar Website.
We are currently fully staffed and do NOT have openings for student workers at this time.
Student Assistants are employed to work in various areas of the Physical Activity Center and are under the supervision of the staff member assigned to that area. Areas include: Equipment Room, Fieldhouse, Locker Rooms, Weight Room, PAC Office, and Special Events. Duties include issuing equipment, laundry, monitoring area, set up for classes, athletic contests and special events.
