Certificate programs are academic programs of study designed to prepare students for a specific career area. These programs do not require as many credits as an associate's degree. Sinclair College offers two types: certificate programs (more than 30 credit hours), which provide more in-depth career training, and short-term certificates, which focus on essential skills for entry-level jobs.
