Honors Symposium, Undergraduate Research Workshop and Other Opportunities

Honors Symposium

The Honors Symposium is held every semester to allow Honors Programs students to share their current honors projects. This event is open to all Sinclair Students enrolled in a course for Honors during the current semester. The Honors Office will invite honors students to participate by the honors office once they have registered to take a class for honors.

The Honors program will sponsor an undergraduate research workshop each semester. This workshop is typically held during the 8th week of the semester. This workshop is open to any student enrolled in a course for honors credit. Students will learn about the basics of undergraduate research and will be able to receive assistance from various faculty and library staff on campus with their honors projects. The Honors office will invite honors students to participate once they register to take a class for honors. This workshop is a good way to learn more about honors and to develop a network with other researchers on campus.

The Honors Program also offers other opportunities to enhance your educational experience at Sinclair through webinars and a speaker series. Information about these events is shared throughout the semester with students participating in the program.
