Welcome:

Welcome to DAYMUNC XXXIII!

We are excited to welcome you for a second time to a weekend of learning, growth, and diplomacy. This conference is designed to provide a valuable experience for both newcomers to Model UN and seasoned delegates preparing for the National Conference in New York (NMUN). Here, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Learn from experienced delegates: Immerse yourself in a supportive environment where you can ask questions, seek advice, and develop your skills.
  • Practice public speaking: Advance your skills by making motions, delivering speeches, and engaging in caucus.
  • Collaborate with others: Work with other member states to solve complex global issues and develop diplomatic solutions cohesively.
  • Gain confidence: Build your self-assurance as you navigate the intricacies of Model UN.

Remember, the more you invest in this experience, the more you'll gain. We're thrilled to introduce ourselves to you as your conference leadership team:

  • Co-Secretary General: Hanzade Aslan

Hanzade is a recent graduate of Wright State University with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. A seasoned Model UN delegate, she has served as Deputy Secretary-General at DAYMUNC XXXI, as Secretary General at DAYMUNC XXXII, and will be staffing at the NMUN NY conference for a second time this year.

  • Co-Secretary General: Lilith Holloway

Lilith is a recent graduate of Wright State University with degrees in International Studies and French Language. She has experience as a delegate and staff member at Wright-MUN and she has served as Deputy Secretary General at DAYMUNC XXXII. Following her graduation, Lilith was awarded a Fulbright Grant to teach English in Lyon, France.

We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
Best Wishes,
