As the rates of mental illness and suicide rise among our youth, many are looking to the internet for answers. Could their time online be a factor? If so, is it the content, the contact, or the conduct that is causing increased depression, anxiety, and aggressiveness? Are parents and caregivers aware of what youth are doing, why they’re doing it, or what it could be doing to them?
Join us as we expose you to what our youth are being exposed to on their digital devices. Learn the 5 iWise Principles that everyone who cares about youth should be practicing: Be Aware, Protect, Prepare, and Respond. Presented by Cheryl L. Mahoney, M.Ed., LSW, OCPC, CHES, CEAP founder of iWise, LLC.
