eLearn 101

Starting in October 2026, students who want to take online or FlexPace courses are required to complete the eLearn 101 tutorial. It is recommended for students taking blended or in-person courses. Anyone with a Sinclair username and password may take eLearn 101. Students interested in FlexPace courses are also required to complete the FlexPace Orientation.

  • Free online tutorial that's available anytime 
  • It is not for credit or a grade
  • Self-paced and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete 
  • Teaches you how to use eLearn.
To get started, follow the steps below:
  1. Log into https://sinclair.instructure.com (note: you must have a Sinclair username and password.) 
  2. Click Courses → All Courses. 
  3. Select Browse more courses. 
  4. Search for eLearn 101 Student Tutorial. 
  5. Click the course and choose Join this course.
  6. Go to Courses, you will see your course listed now.

What is eLearn?
