Manufacturing Day is an annual event hosted at Sinclair Community College in collaboration with FastLane for students who participate in the FlexFactor program. This event occurs on the first Friday of October.

Attendees are given a brief introduction to the various manufacturing programs offered in Sinclair’s Division of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through interactive demonstrations and presentations on Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, CNC Machining, Industrial Robotics & Automation, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Unmanned Aerial Systems, and Welding.


Industry Partner Opportunity to Network with Students!

  • Inspire the Next Generation & Connect with Future Talent: Share your expertise and passion for manufacturing with up to 600 enthusiastic middle & high school students who are eager to learn more about the manufacturing industry.
  • Showcase Your Company: Highlight your company’s innovations, career opportunities and impactful contributions to industry and region with an interactive activity or demonstration. Swag is always a hit!
  • Internships/Job Shadow: Consider having a sign-up sheet at your booth for interested students to intern or job shadow at your company.
  • Build Community Relationships: Strengthen ties with the academic community and other industry leaders at the 8:00-9:00 AM company networking session.
