AI in Today's College Classroom: Expectations and Insights
The AI Excellence Institute and The Dayton Early College Academy are proud to offer a Panel event targeted at the K-12 community. Participants will learn how AI is shaping college coursework, assignments, and academic expectations. College faculty and staff from around the region will share real classroom policies, challenges, and opportunities to help K12 educators better prepare students for the transition to college.

Navigating the AI Landscape: Governance, Policy, and Procurement for Non-profit Leaders
This workshop, hosted by Taft Law, helps non-profit leaders navigate the risks and responsibilities of AI adoption. Participants will explore AI governance, acceptable use policies, vendor evaluation, data privacy, and compliance, with practical strategies they can apply within their organizations

AI Microcredential Program
The AI Institute offers a Community AI Microcredential program. You can preview the program at no cost for participants with a certificate awarded for completion. Your best bet is the paid version resulting in a stackable, transferable badge issued for completion which can be shared on a number of platforms. Contact us with questions or comments.

AI CTL Workshops
Hosted by the Sinclair Center for Teaching and Learning, these events cover an array of topics including basics of AI, Tips and Tricks, and other considerations for use of AI in the learning space.
Externships
Externships are an opportunity for faculty and staff to connect to local organizations to observe and interact with AI application in real-world settings, improving overall literacy, teaching, learning and workforce readiness. Sinclair faculty and staff can learn more and apply.
