November 6, 2025 – Inside eLearn's Glow Up: Canvas Progress + Early Wins

The Glow Up is in full swing! Following Dr. Amato’s update at last week’s Town Hall, the Canvas Migration Team is excited to share progress and what’s ahead. Watch our short update video to see how the transformation is unfolding and how you can stay on track.

We’re celebrating some early wins:

• The setup and course templates for Canvas are nearing final stages of completion.
• Pilot faculty will begin training on December 17 and 18 in preparation for spring term.
• Pilot course sections are already visible in the Registration Portal.

Now is the time to get ready — there are only 17 weeks left to prepare your courses for migration!

Here’s how you can take action today:

• Visit sinclair.edu/canvas for migration resources and project updates.
• Use the D2L Course Prep Guide to organize your course content for migration.
• Submit Canvas Migration Special Requests through the Service Catalog.
• Join a Checkpoint Chat or Open Lab for hands-on support.

Students will soon see Glow Up messaging across campus, but right now, faculty and staff play the most important role in preparing for a smooth transition.
