This certificate prepares existing or potential entrepreneurs in a variety of small business functions.

Program Outcomes

  • Apply knowledge of business concepts and terms when developing marketing strategies appropriate for small business.
  • Apply knowledge of business concepts and terms when developing financial strategies appropriate for small business.
  • Demonstrate and apply solid business communication skills as exhibited throughout their written and oral presentations.

Career Opportunities

Students completing this certificate can expect to be prepared for a management role in an existing small business or begin their own small business.
