Two Sinclair Athletes Achieve OCCAC Academic All-Conference Honors

Two Sinclair Community College athletes are being recognized by the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) for academic excellence.  Sinclair Baseball player Grant Delk and Sinclair Women’s Basketball player Allison Stefanek are among the OCCAC Spring ’21 Academic All-Conference honorees.  

To achieve this recognition, students must maintain a 3.30 GPA or higher while completing at least 12 credit hours.  

Delk is currently studying Business Administration at Sinclair while maintaining a 3.50 GPA. He expects to graduate in 2023. Stefanek maintains a 3.33 GPA while studying Dental Hygiene and plans to graduate in 2024.

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC), which promotes and fosters community college athletics for men and women at the state level, has been around since 1993 in its current state. Prior to 1993, the OCCAC was known as the Ohio Junior College Athletic Conference (OJCAC) and the Turnpike Conference.

Over 100 OCCAC student-athletes picked up Spring ’21 Academic All-Conference recognition.
