Sinclair Serves as Title Sponsor at Joint Event Highlighting Growth & Development in Southwest Ohio

On Thursday, June 25, Cincinnati Business Courier and Dayton Business Journal hosted the Southwest Ohio Growth Summit, a joint event highlighting growth and development in Southwest Ohio. Sinclair Community College served as the Title Sponsor for this event. Dr. Steve Johnson, Sinclair President & CEO, gave opening remarks, highlighting Sinclair's recent announcement with SNC, the global aerospace and defense company, on the launch of the “SNC-Sinclair Academy,” establishing the Dayton region’s first employer-co-designed aviation workforce pipeline.

The first of two panels at this event included Mark Williams, Senior Vice President and Dayton Site Executive of SNC. The panel focused on the booming growth in the defense sector within the Dayton and Cincinnati regions.
