Sinclair Community College's Mason Campus Receives Warren County Foundation Community Service Award

Sinclair Community College in Mason is being recognized by the Warren County Foundation with the 2022 Outstanding Organization Community Service Award. The award recognizes Warren County non-profit organizations which serve as role models for other organizations and make significant and measurable contributions to enhancing the quality of life in Warren County. Sinclair’s Mason location is being recognized for providing quality higher education and community engagement to Warren County and its citizens.

Dr. Steve Johnson, President of Sinclair Community College, accepted the award on June 9, 2022, at the Warren County Foundation’s 15th Annual Community Service Awards program at the Manor House in Mason.

“Sinclair Community College is honored to receive this recognition from the Warren County Foundation. Our Mason location continues the College's mission of providing accessible, affordable, flexible education to prepare students with the vital skills they need to meet the needs of Warren County and the region’s employers,” said Dr. Steve Johnson, President – Sinclair Community College. 

U.S. Senator Rob Portman, recipient of the Geroge R. Henkle Philnathropy and Community Service Award, attended the event. Proclamations were presented to the award recipients from State Senator Steve Wilson and State Representative Scott Lipps. 

Sinclair’s Mason campus serves more than 1,400 students annually and offers 30 career-ready and transfer degree and certificate programs in  Liberal Arts, Automation, Health Sciences, Business, and Information Technology.
