Sinclair Community College began classes this week with its highest Spring term enrollment since 2013. As of this week, overall enrollment at Sinclair is up 3% compared to the prior year, with Spring term headcount exceeding 20,300 students.
This milestone is on the heels of a successful Fall term, which also saw decade-high enrollment exceeding 20,600 students. Nationwide, college enrollment is still recovering post-pandemic. Public 2-year institutions have experienced a 4% growth nationally during the most recent Fall term, while Sinclair Community College surpassed these figures with enrollment gains exceeding 6% overall.

These enrollment gains coincide with the introduction of new degrees and certificates designed to meet evolving workforce needs. For the 2025-2026 academic year, Sinclair Community College launched seven (7) new degree and certificate programs that provide affordable, career-focused training aligned with regional in-demand fields, preparing students quickly and for less money to meet the needs of employers in the region.
