Senator Blackshear Visits Sinclair at the Hope Center

Thank you to State Senator Willis Blackshear who took time today (April 13) to visit Sinclair at the Hope Center. Senator Blackshear met with Program Director Dawna Remencus and Senior Vice President/Chief of Staff at Sinclair Madeline Iseli to learn more about the opportunities afforded to students at the Hope Center.

Sinclair at the Hope Center for Families is an initiative of the Omega Community Development Corporation (CDC) to empower low-income individuals and families of greater Dayton to achieve and sustain self-sufficiency with the life skills, work skills, and character to succeed through a two generational poverty reduction model. The Hope Center brings together services from Dayton Children’s Hospital, Mini University, Sinclair Community College, and Omega CDC, to serve the unique needs of our community right here in Northwest Dayton.
