Schroeder becomes Sinclair's all-time leading scorer in women's basketball

January 11, 2019

Sinclair Community College super sophomore adds another milestone to her long list of accomplishments as she can now add the title of all-time leading women’s basketball scorer at Sinclair.

Amanda Schroeder (6-00/SO – Dayton Carroll H.S.) scored 23 points Saturday January 5th on the road at Danville Area Community College to eclipse to old mark held by Shannon Potee (1989-91) of 1,120 career points.  Amanda shattered the record in just 45 games and continues to shred opponent’s defenses at will.  Along the way, she has scored 20 or more points in 17 straight games.

The defending OCCAC Player of the Year and 1st Team NJCAA All-American was the quickest women’s basketball player to score 1,000 points.
