Commissioner Darius Beckham Visits Sinclair's "Our American Journey" Exhibit

Thank you to City of Dayton Commissioner Darius Beckham who took time today (April 21) to visit Sinclair Community College. Commissioner Beckham met with Senior Advisor to the President Michael Carter and Senior Vice President/Chief of Staff Madeline Iseli to learn more about Sinclair, as well as take a tour of the “Michael & Debbie Carter Center for American History: Our American Journey.”

“Our American Journey,” located in Building 11 (Third Floor) on Sinclair’s Dayton Campus, is an immersive exhibit dedicated to telling underrepresented stories of American history. Through artifacts, multimedia displays, and curated narratives, the Center highlights the experiences, contributions, and resilience of Americans from the era of enslavement through the civil rights movement and beyond.
