VET 1000 Introduction to Veterinary Medicine

Introduction to professions within veterinary medicine. The student will learn about the history and practice of veterinary medicine, veterinary technology/nursing, veterinary assisting, office management and client services at a veterinary hospital. After completing this course, the student will understand the pros and cons of entering this profession and the benefits and risks involved in working with animals in this medical field.
