Outcomes

  • Students will apply appropriate knowledge of ethics, values, and responsibilities in the practice of physical therapy at a refinement level and a competent level.
  • Students will appropriately utilize the ICF model during patient/client management at a refinement level.
  • Students will appropriately work within the plan of care established by the physical therapist to contribute to discharge planning at a refinement level.
  • Students will demonstrate competence in planning selected components of interventions identified in the plan of care established by the physical therapist at a refinement level.
  • Students will demonstrate competence in performing components of data collection skills essential for carrying out the plan of care established by the physical therapist by administering tests and measures (before, during, and after interventions) at a refinement level.
  • Students will demonstrate appropriate participation in the health care environment at a competent level.
  • Students will appropriately apply knowledge of practice management in the field of physical therapy at a competent level.
