Introduction to the civil system, courts, torts, and civil pleadings. The student will develop skills in drafting basic pleadings. Note: This course must be taken concurrently with PAR 1101 and PAR 1102.

  • Apply Ohio and federal civil laws and court rules to all phases of the civil litigation process, from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal.

  • Recognize and explain the various categories of torts, their legal elements, and their significance in civil litigation.
