- Learn tile roof systems, and components and tools for installation and repair. Learn tile roof application procedures, safety considerations, and flashing techniques.
- Learn the components, tools, and installation and repair methods used for wood roof systems. Learn properties of wood shingles and wood shakes.
- Learn slate roof system components, styles, tools, and safety considerations. Learn appropriate procedures for
the installation and repair of these systems.
- Learn the various types of metal roofs, including architectural, structural, and metal shingle systems. Learn the seam types, methods, and tools used in metal roof
installation. Learn the proper tools and techniques used for the installation and repair of metal roofing systems.
