CAT 1640 Residential Electric

An in-depth lecture series on residential electrical systems, combined with a series of lab exercises. The course will cover the following: basic safety procedures for working with electrical systems, proper use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment, reading and interpreting electrical prints and diagrams, installation of basic residential wiring and circuits, and application of National Electric Code (NEC) standards in residential projects. One classroom, two lab hours per week.
