ALH 1125 Pharmacy Technician Directed Practice II

This course will provide students with real world experience in a pharmacy (i.e. hospital pharmacy). Students will be provided with a valuable learning experience and potential contacts and/or references for employment. This course will also provide students with additional review for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam. Students will complete 105 hours of non-paid, supervised directed practice in a hospital pharmacy. A background check, proof of personal health insurance, Healthcare Provider BLS, and a completed health physical with proof of immunizations will be required prior to attending the directed practice.

Prereqs: ALH 1122 and ALH 1124 and ALH 1183 and Background check, health physical, proof of immunizations, CPR, personal health insurance, 18 years of age or older, must demonstrate English language proficiency
