Canvas goes live in just 13 days on May 18.

You are in the home stretch. Finish strong, lean on the support around you, and get excited—the eLearn Glow Up is almost here.

Role-Based Reminders

Chairs and Course Coordinators

  • Check your Canvas Admin menu and ensure you have access to the appropriate departments, courses, and teaching shells.

Course Coordinators

  • Use your migrated content to build your Blueprint (new master) course.
  • If you do not have a Blueprint and need one, request one via the eLearn Course Shell Add/Delete Form or move content to your summer teaching shell.
  • New resource: Last-minute Canvas checks for Course Coordinators help identify potential Blueprint issues before syncing to teaching shells.

Teaching Faculty

  • Wait for the Blueprint course to be synced to your teaching shell.
  • If you are unsure when content will be available, contact your Course Coordinator.
  • Preparing Your Teaching Shells guidance will be released next week—watch your email for details.

  • The eLearn URL (elearn.sinclair.edu) will switch from D2L to Canvas on May 14
  • Access D2L at scc-elearn.brightspace.com
  • D2L will also be accessible via a banner at the top of my.sinclair starting May 14
