We’ve heard from departments about the need for more targeted, discipline-specific support—especially for face-to-face coordinators and faculty as they build their Blueprint courses.
In response, eLearning is introducing Canvas Office Hours for Departments as an additional support opportunity available May 1 through June 30. These sessions expand support for all faculty across all modalities and are supplemental to (not a replacement for) the existing Preparing for Canvas sessions offered through CTL.
These sessions provide your department with dedicated, hands-on time to ask questions, work through challenges, and receive guidance tailored to your courses at a time chosen by you.
Faculty should plan to attend a Preparing for Canvas session through the CTL prior to participating.

Faculty can use this time to get targeted help with:

Departments are invited to schedule one or more sessions between May 1 and June 30 based on their needs. We encourage scheduling early to help accommodate preferred days and times.
To schedule, contact Katie Kline. She will coordinate with Canvas Liaisons and Instructure.
We hope this new offering provides meaningful support as your faculty continue preparing courses for Canvas. Thank you for your ongoing partnership and feedback. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions about this opportunity.
