April 14, 2026 – The eLearn Standard Template Is Now Available in Canvas Commons

The eLearn Standard Template is now available for your Sandbox via Canvas Commons.

Anyone interested in exploring the eLearn Standard Template and seeing how courses are structured in Canvas can now download the template directly into their Sandbox course.

Note: If you need a Blueprint course with the eLearn Standard Template already applied, please submit a request using the eLearn Course Shell Add/Delete Form.

How to Add the eLearn Standard Template to Your Sandbox

1. On the Home tab of your Sandbox course, locate the Course Status panel on the top right.
2. Select Import from Commons from the available options.
3. In Commons, search for “eLearn Standard Template.”
4. Select the template from the search results.
5. Click Import/Download.
6. Choose your Sandbox course from the dropdown list to complete the import.
7. Once imported, the template will be available in your Sandbox for use and customization.
