Dr. Jared Cutler serves as the Assistant Provost at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. In this role, he oversees the college's curriculum, accreditation processes, and assessment strategies, ensuring that academic programs meet rigorous standards of quality and effectiveness. He has served in Sinclair’s Provost’s Office for 15 years. Prior to that, Dr. Cutler spent 8 years as a Data Analyst in Sinclair’s Office of Research, Analytics, and Reporting.
Dr. Cutler grew up in the state of Idaho, and holds a Ph.D. in Psychology – Research and Evaluation Methodology from Utah State University. He and his wife Susan have six children.

Dr. Martha Hurley serves as the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs at Sinclair Community College, where she leads initiatives that support faculty development, engagement, and success. A first-generation college graduate and seasoned academic leader, Dr. Hurley brings more than two decades of experience in higher education, with expertise in the management of academic units, curricular innovation, change management, and student-centered learning. Her commitment to inclusive excellence and collaborative leadership helps foster a dynamic academic environment that empowers both faculty and students.
Dr. Lisa Mahle-Grisez was named Vice Provost in May of 2024. As Vice Provost, she works to build, grow, and assess student success and completion initiatives, as well as post-graduation student success initiatives. As a first-generation college student herself, she is committed to a holistic approach to student success that provides clear pathways for students.
Lisa started her career at Sinclair in 1997, first serving as an adjunct, ACF, and tenure-track faculty; then as English Department Chair; and later as the Dean of Liberal Arts, Communication, and Social Sciences. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in English from the University of Dayton and a Ph.D. in Composition and Rhetoric from Miami University.
