What to Expect in a Sinclair Construction Bid

  • Electronic bidding: When a project is listed on Bid Express, bids are submitted through that platform.
  • Pre-bid meetings: When required, the date/time/location (or virtual instructions) are provided in the solicitation.
  • Bid opening: Bid openings and posting of results follow the process stated in the solicitation and Bid Express posting.
  • Questions: Use the method listed in the solicitation (often through the Bid Express Q&A feature) to ensure responses are shared fairly.

Key Points for Bidders

Always rely on the solicitation documents for definitive instructions.

  • Submit bids only by the method stated (for Bid Express projects, this means Bid Express).
  • Review required forms, certifications, and insurance/bonding expectations early.
  • Plan for typical public-sector requirements (records, timelines, approvals, compliance documentation).

If there is a conflict between older webpage language and the solicitation documents, the solicitation governs.
