Sinclair Community College has partnered with the Disney College Program for over twenty years; our students have participated as interns since the fall term of 1992. Since then, in spring semester of 2013, we sent our 500th intern to the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Disney has rightfully earned its world-renowned reputation for providing quality customer service to its guests, which is why an internship at Disney can be a valuable experience for any student regardless of major or career intention. An internship at Disney offers students an opportunity to build the self-confidence, soft skills and leadership qualities that are highly sought after by employers in every industry.
The Disney College Program offers internships in fall (August - December) and spring (January - June). To apply to become a Disney Cast Member students must:
Most positions include Character Attendant, Merchandice Clerk, Custodial, and Attractions Attendant.
The Disney Professional Internships program offers students the opportunity to work in professional positions that align with their academic field of study. Most professional internships are offered in the fields of Engineering, Business Management, Marketing, Information Technology, Finance, Graphic Design, and Animal and Plant Sciences.
The Disney Culinary Program offers students an opportunity to work alongside top industy chefs, creating lasting memories and culinary experiences for guests. Students master their culinary craft at one of the nation's more recognized hospitality destination. Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry student may receive Sinclair credit for their internship experience.
