Reginald Gibson

Reginald GibsonCan you tell us a little about yourself?

I attended Sinclair in 2005. At that time, I enrolled in the Hospitality Restaurat Culinary courses. At the time I was a sous chef for the King Cole restaurant.

What inspired you to pursue your career path, and how did Sinclair help you get there?

My inspiration was the yearning to feel complete, certified and established within getting an associate degree.

How would you describe the impact Sinclair had on your life, both in and out of the classroom?

Sinclair gave me the confidence that I could study and achieve great things in life.

How has your definition of success changed from when you were a Sinclair student to now?

I believe in success now! Whereas once it was a distant thought. As such, success is never-ending. Once it's a part of you, nothing can stop the vigor of its meaning.

What is one piece of advice that you would give to current Sinclair students?

Take the first step. Be humble, honest, and trust the school administrators, advisors, and counselors. Indeed, they have your best interests at heart; success!
