This 90-minute workshop will focus on internships in the fields of STEM. The event will have four elements:
Welcome from the Dean of Science, Technology, Mathematics, and Engineering – Karl Hess
Student Panel – Sinclair students who have successfully completed internships in STEM.
Work-Based Learning Presentation – Staff from WBL discuss the process of obtaining an internship.
Company Panel/Networking – Dayton area employers who frequently hire Sinclair STEM interns.
Students will have the opportunity to complete a WBL Student Application and Agreement at the conclusion of the event. Students will leave with a clear understanding of the process, benefits, timelines, and requirements of obtaining an internship.
Refreshments will be provided.
