The SAGE committee in partnership with the OAJ Carter Center welcomes book lovers to our book club reading of Redefining Realness: My Path to Womanhood, Identity, Love & So Much More, which is Janet Mock's coming-of-age story celebrating the perils and pleasures of her unconventional girlhood in Honolulu, Dallas and Oakland. It’s the first memoir from a young trans woman and debuted on the New York Times bestsellers list! This is a great introduction into better understanding the trans experience.
Ri Molnar, Sinclair Assistant Professor of Social Work will facilitate this 2-session book read. A complimentary copy of the book will be provided to all registrants.
