28th Annual Safety Awareness Expo

The Sinclair Community College Police Department is hosting its 28th Annual Safety Awareness Expo, co-sponsored by the Miami Valley Crime Prevention Association.

The day's activities include: 

  • Over 35 area police departments, law enforcement agencies, safety-related organizations and Sinclair clubs and organizations will be featuring interactive displays.
  • The Building 10 plaza and West 4th Street area will be surrounded with a variety of police vehicles and specialty cars.
  • K-9 demonstrations.
  • Hands on digital fire extinquisher training.
  • Rapelling exercises. 
  • Water rescue exercises on the Great Miami River.
  • Over 200 safety, law enforcement and fire high school students from various vocational schools in the Miami Valley.
  • Free popcorn and cotton candy.
  • Many Sinclair clubs and organizations will be on hand to provide information and activities.
