The Nursing Program offers advanced placement for Licensed Practical Nurses and individuals with specific military training.
Nursing is a challenging and satisfying profession where one person can make a difference in the lives of others. This program prepares registered nurses who will provide nursing care in a competent, caring manner.
Nurses' roles range from direct patient care and case management to establishing nursing practice standards, developing quality assurance procedures, and directing complex nursing care systems. The responsibilities of an RN make it necessary for you to be prepared as a conscientious person who is well organized, able to make logical decisions, able to function effectively under pressure, and maintain a high energy level. Sinclair’s nursing program is specially designed to give graduates the experience necessary to succeed and the knowledge to excel while pursuing certifications and taking the NCLEX nursing board exam.
