Nu Pi offers many opportunities for personal growth and development of leadership skills by focusing on Phi Theta Kappa's four Hallmarks:
Meeting Schedule – Nu Pi meets hold business meetings once a month during the fall and spring semesters. Throughout the year there will be meetings as needed for other projects the chapter is involved with.
Orientation and Inductions – Orientations and Inductions are held each Spring and Fall semester.
Honors In Action - The Honors in Action Project, inspired by the Honors Study Topic, combines all of Phi Theta Kappa's Hallmarks — Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship — into one project.
College Project - The College Project is designed to help your chapter develop a positive relationship between your chapter and the college administration.
Relay for Life - Relay For Life rallies communities to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost and raise funds to eliminate cancer. Lasting overnight as team members take turns walking around a track, Relay inspires, entertains and touches the hearts of all who participate.
Phi Theta Kappa encourages chapters to continue to support Relay For Life. Our goal as an Honor Society is to raise $10 million for the American Cancer Society by Phi Theta Kappa's 100th Anniversary Annual Convention in 2018. Phi Theta Kappa chapters have already raised nearly $4 million as of 2015.
Blood Drive - Nu Pi sponsors a Community Blood Center blood drive four times a year on the Dayton Campus. The blood drive takes place in the Loggia (the upper level of the Library) from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
