  • Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund
    • The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund provides need-based scholarships for students who are active and emerging organizers in progressive movements for liberation, self-determination and social and economic justice in their communities.
    • Criteria
      • enrolled at a college or university or in a trade or technical program.
      • involved in movements for progressive social change
      • have financial need.

  • Gamma Mu Foundation Scholarship by Gamma Mu Foundation
    • Scholarships are awarded based upon financial need and the desire to pursue additional training through academic or vocational endeavors.
    • Criteria
      • A gay man
        • (with the exception of the “Folisi & Goodwin Scholarship In Memory of Ray Williams” and the "Phil Papel Memorial Scholarship”)
      • Under 35 years of age
      • Have completed high school (or GED) by June of the current year
      • Be a U.S. citizen.
    • Open March 1, closes March 31
       
  • League Foundation Scholarships
    • Criteria
      • Be an openly self-identified member of the LGBTQ+ Community
      • Be graduating from high school in the year they apply for a scholarship.
      • Be a United States Citizen or be a legal immigrant.
      • Be attending an accredited college, university, or vocational school within the US or Canada
    • Applications are usually accepted from January through April.Decisions are usually made in July.
       
  • Nigel Shelby Scholarship by Nigel Shelby Foundation
    • The Nigel Shelby Foundation supports youth without a support system, offering scholarships for college, essentials like food and clothing, and resources to strengthen relationships between LGBTQIA children and their parents, creating an alternate safe space for families in need.
       
  • onePULSE Foundation Scholarship
    • Criteria
      • applicants attending an accredited institution of higher learning, including career and technical schools.
    • Consideration factors
      • applicant’s personal story
      • financial need or independence
      • strong academic or self-improvement interest
      • proven track record of leadership, community involvement and/or work experience.
    • Preference will be given to applicants who are immediate family members of the 49 victims, as well as all of the survivors of the tragedy and first responders to the event. Family members, survivors and first responders are strongly encouraged to apply.
    • Up to $10,000 each for 49 recipients
       
  • Community College Scholarship by the Point Foundation
    • Point Community College Scholars receive financial aid, mentoring, leadership development, and transfer support.
      • Must be enrolled or intending to enroll at an accredited community college in the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska.
      • Must have 1-2 years of community college left and either
        • (1) intend to transfer to a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year institution OR
        • (2) graduate with an associates degree within two years.
      • Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credits) throughout the academic year.
      • Must be “out” as a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community.
    • $2,400 per semester or $4,800 per academic year.
