Personal development, including development of the self as an effective therapeutic tool, exploration of values, personal and cultural attitudes, sensitivity to cultural differences, group process and ethical decision making. One classroom, two lab hours per week.

Outcomes
- Students will understand social & behavioral science information in order to support an understanding of occupations across the lifespan at a developing level.
- Students will understand interprofessional perspectives including rehabilitation, disability & developmental as well as person/population-environment-occupation models, theories and frameworks of practice as they pertain to healthcare at a developing level.
- Students will understand the basics of the OT Process (screening, evaluating, developing intervention plan, implementing the intervention plan & outcomes) at a developing level.
- Students will understand OT professional ethic, responsibilities & values at a developing level
