CLT 2990 Histology Practicum
Practical training in all major areas in the contemporary histopathology laboratory, under the direction of a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) approved/accredited hospital educational program personnel. One classroom, twenty-eight practicum hours per week.

Outcomes
- Perform all routine histology laboratory procedures both accurately and proficiently.
- Demonstrate an awareness of the proper procedures to protect self and the environment in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrate an in-depth application of histology, immunohistochemistry, enzyme histochemistry, cytology specimen preparation, electron microscopy and light microscopy in a histopathology laboratory.
Demonstrate both professional and interpersonal skills with patients, histology personnel, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals
