Technology has certainly enhanced the way in which we learn in the 21st century! Did you ever imagine that you would be able to take accredited college courses outside the classroom or in the vicinity where you work or live? Students are eager to take advantage of this style of learning and as a result, the Distance Learning division has been working hard to expand its course and program offerings to assist students in meeting their educational goals.
At Sinclair, it is not uncommon to meet students who combine a variety of delivery formats (online, videotape, print-based and CD-ROM) to fit their busy schedules. Students who choose distance learning as their preference to learning also realize added benefits - improvement in computer knowledge, communication, organizational and time management skills. Plus, distance learning course content and expectations, as well as credit hours, transferability, cost and student support services are the same as if the student took the course in the traditional classroom.
Students who are motivated, maintain a strong grade point average, enjoy studying in a different learning atmosphere and embody an adventuresome spirit to try something new may want to consider taking a distance learning course. I invite you to look into the possibility and call us to discuss any questions you may have.
Best Wishes in Your Educational Pursuit,
