What is the ACE Internationalization Lab?

The American Council on Education’s (ACE) Internationalization Laboratory, is a guided, interactive process designed to help colleges and universities analyze and assess international activities and formulate a cohesive, comprehensive, strategic action plan. Since the laboratory’s launch in 2003, over 150 colleges and universities have participated in the lab.

Sinclair Community College, along with 16 other colleges and universities in the United States and world-wide, was selected to participate in ACE’s 2019 – 021 Internationalization Laboratory (Cohort 17). The Lab takes place over two years. Sinclair’s strategic planning process includes:

  • Reviewing Sinclair’s current international activities
  • Developing global learning goals and a plan for assessment
  • Developing strategic goals that will increase Sinclair’s global connections and help expand its effectiveness in international education.
