  • Sinclair offered its first COILed class (Professor Kay Koeninger’s Art History course, in cooperation with Yamaguchi Prefecture University’s Professor Amy Wilson) during Fall Semester, 2019. 
  • Here are some of the survey results:
    • The COIL module in the course improved my communication skills:
      • 88% agreed or strongly agreed
    • The COIL module in the course improved my knowledge of another culture:
      • 95% agreed or strongly agreed
    • The COIL module in the course gave me confidence in interacting with students from another culture:

    • The COIL module in the course made me want to interact with students from a different culture or to travel overseas in the future:
